The Philanthropic Board helps to guide our mission and vision by raising awareness of the 91ɫƵ Cancer Center as a leader in cancer research and care. Comprised of prominent business, professional, and civic leaders, the Philanthropic Board works together with the community to secure the financial and non-financial resources needed to advance cancer discoveries, including:
- Pilot funding, which allows researchers to develop a track record to compete for and leverage long-term federal funds
- Bridge funding for researchers while they renew grants
