Biochemistry Faculty Featured in Milwaukee Magazine's 2024 Women of Distinction Issue

Drs. Daisy Sahoo, PhD and Karin Hoffmeister, MD were selected as part of Milwaukee Magazine's 2024 Women of Distinction. They each got a full page feature in the November 2024 issue of the magazine, where they discussed their background, accomplishments, and goals for their current positions. Dr. Sahoo is the Dean of the Graduate School, has a primary appointment in the Department of Medicine and a secondary appointment in the Department of Biochemistry.

Dr. Hoffmeister is a Senior Investigator at the Versiti Blood Research Institute and has a primary appointment in the Department of Biochemistry.

Karin Hoffmeister, MD

The Women of Distinction, in its 6th year of honors, is an annual special section of Milwaukee Magazine that features some of our city’s most accomplished leaders. These women represent excellence in a wide range of fields, from finance and health care to law, real estate, education and more.
