Biography
Jacqueline Guzman is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Institute for Health Equity and the Biobehavioral Oncology Training Program at the 91ɫƵ Cancer Center. Dr. Guzman earned her PhD in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Her research focuses on developing and implementing community-based, multi-domain interventions—incorporating physical activity and diet—to address brain health disparities and enhance the quality of life for underserved populations. Currently, Dr. Guzman is examining the experiences of Latina breast cancer survivors with cancer-related cognitive impairment to develop future lifestyle interventions.
