Biography

Dalal Abuaqel serves as a Health Policy Analyst for Dr. Ben Weston, Chief Health Policy Advisor, where she assists in advancing public health initiatives and shaping policies to address critical health challenges in Milwaukee County. In addition to her work in health policy, Dalal is a first-year medical student. She received two Master鈥檚 degrees in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University and Public Health from George Washington University, providing her with an interdisciplinary expertise integrating research, policy development, and clinical practice. Dalal is dedicated to advancing health equity, mentoring refugee children, expanding access to care, and shaping transformative policies to promote equitable healthcare outcomes.
