Biochemistry Faculty/Students Co-Chair Gordon Research Conference and Seminar on Lipoprotein Metabolism

91ɫƵ graduate students at conferenceHayley Powers, PhD and Gage Stuttgen, past and current Department of Biochemistry graduate students in Dr. Daisy Sahoo's lab, co-chaired the , June 1 – 2, in New Hampshire. This Seminar presented a forum for young doctoral and postdoctoral researchers to present their work, as well as discuss new methods, cutting-edge ideas and pre-published data. It provides an opportunity to engage and network with fellow students and postdoctoral researchers. The Seminar included several research presentations and poster sessions. Additionally, Biochemistry graduate students Jordan Bobek, and Emma Tillison presented their work at the Seminar.

Dr. Daisy Sahoo, Professor of Medicine and Biochemistry and Dean of the Graduate School, co-chaired the along with Marlys Koschinsky, PhD, Professor of Physiology and Pharmacology at Western University (Canada). This Conference took place June 2 – 7 in New Hampshire, and is an international scientific conference where the frontiers of science are advanced through research presentations and poster sessions, discussion of cutting-edge research, and networking opportunities between scientists at all career stages. Biochemistry graduate student Gage Stuttgen also presented his research during this Conference.
