Biography

Originally trained as a kindergarten teacher, Amber brings her passion to supporting young children and their families to her current work in Maternal-Infant Health at 91ɫƵ. She earned her BS in Early Childhood Education and MS in Cultural Foundations of Community Engagement and Education from UW-Milwaukee. She is currently a 2nd year PhD Student in UWM’s Public Rhetorics and Community Engagement program. Amber joined 91ɫƵ in the summer of 2024 at the Institute for Health and Equity. She is a Program Coordinator III for the U54 Maternal Health Research Center of Excellence. Her primary role is supporting key community partners as well as providing administrative support.

When not studying or working, Amber enjoys crafting, cooking, and spending time with her two school-age daughters.
