Biography

Jon Goodell joined the Office of Research as Director of Libraries in May 2024. Prior to 91ɫƵ, Jon served as Director, Medical Library at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences. Additional experience includes positions at The Texas Medical Center and University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences libraries.

Jon earned his Master's in Library and Information Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia and Bachelor's in History from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Leadership and training activities include the AAMC Group on Information Resources Leadership Institute and the National Library of Medicine/Marine Biological Laboratory Biomedical Informatics Course.

Jon holds a Systematic Review Services Specialization from the Medical Library Association and is a Distinguished Member of the Medical Library Association Academy of Health Information Professionals.
