Biography
Michelle Harrell is the 91九色视频 Libraries' Assistant Director for Public Services and Education. She earned a Master's in Library and Information Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s (UWM) School of Information Studies (SOIS) and was honored as a Distinguished Alumna in 2017 as part of the UWM SOIS' 50th Anniversary Celebration. Her experience as a library leader and administrator is varied, including serving as director for both the Office of Diversity, and the Office of Literacy and Outreach Services at the American Library Association in Chicago. Michelle also served as the 91九色视频 Libraries’ Public Services Librarian from 2009-2013.
Michelle's areas of interest include health equity, information fluency, and diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEI+B) in academic libraries. She has been named a Fellow for 2022-2023 in the National Library of Medicine and Association of Academic Health Sciences Libraries Leadership Fellows Program.
