Geriatrics Fast Facts (GFFs)

GFFs were launched in 2015 and inspired by Palliative Fast Facts to address the health care needs of the older adult. Dr. Kathryn Denson, Interim Chief, Division of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine at the 91ɫƵ is the Editor in Chief. Topics have been derived from Geriatric Education Team (GET) collaborations in Cardiology, General Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology, Nephrology and Pulmonary and Critical Care; as well as, through the Geriatrics Consortium between the 91ɫƵ, UW-Madison, Marquette University, and Advocate Aurora. today.

Palliative Fast Facts (PFFs)

PFFs has been a national resource for palliative care health care workers since 2000 courtesy of Dr. David Weissman, early leader in Palliative Medicine at the 91ɫƵ. Dr. Sean Marks, Associate Professor of Medicine, Division of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine, 91ɫƵ, is the current Editor in Chief. Topics include end of life care for patients of all ages, physical, mental and behavioral health treatment plans, and decision-making processes. .
