Biography
Stephanie’s passion for neurosurgery started when she first stepped into an operating room as an intraoperative monitoring student at the University of Michigan. She then worked alongside Neurosurgery at Duke University Health System and her love for this specialty continued to grow. At Duke, Stephanie served as the lead preceptor for the neurophysiologic intraoperative monitoring (NIOM) department prior to attending Elon University for PA school. Stephanie continued to work for Duke NIOM PRN to keep her clinical NIOM skillset sharp. At Elon, she served as class president and was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi National Honors Society, along with Pi Alpha, the Physician Assistant Honors Society, at graduation. Upon completing her master’s degree, Stephanie relocated to Milwaukee to work for the neurosurgery department here at 91ɫƵ. She is excited to not only use the skills she learned in PA school to help care for patients, but also continue to use her background in neurophysiology to help further clinical neurosurgical research with the Krucoff Lab. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys attending sporting events, trying new exercise classes, and spending time with friends and family.
