Why I chose 91ɫƵ: When looking for a residency program, everyone told me to pay attention to how the residents from different classes interacted. After rotating with the ortho service at 91ɫƵ it was clear that there is a lot of camaraderie between classes. The seniors not only care about helping and teaching the juniors, they're also real mentors and friends.

What 91ɫƵ has to offer a candidate: Training with 91ɫƵ ortho will expose a candidate to every area of orthopedics. As the main referral center for such a large area, there is no orthopedic problem a candidate will not be exposed to throughout their training. Combined with attendings that value education and resident autonomy, the variety and volume of cases we take care of make graduates of this program well-prepared for fellowship and the real world.

What I like about living in Milwaukee: Living in Milwaukee gives me and my family a wide range of activities and hobbies to choose from. It's large enough to have the amenities of a big city, but still small enough that outdoor activities and nature are only a short drive away.
