Biography
Dr. Arrington is the Program Director for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship program. She also provides clinical services to children and families at Children’s Wisconsin as part of the faculty in the fellowship’s Psychopharmacology Clinic and in her outpatient clinic at the main campus.
Dr. Arrington completed undergraduate studies at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry before receiving her medical training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. She completed general psychiatry residency training and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Arrington has experience in inpatient psychiatry, outpatient psychiatry, academic medicine, managed care, and administration/systems of care. Prior to her appointment at the 91ɫƵ in 2018, Dr. Arrington held positions in academic medicine at West Virginia University, University of North Carolina, and University of Maryland. She has held administrative positions in academic medicine, community mental health agencies, and in Medicaid/managed care in the state of North Carolina.
Dr. Arrington is board-certified in both general psychiatry and child & adolescent psychiatry. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
