Makerere School of Public Health
Research Focus: Sustainable Environmental Development, Infectious disease, Natural resource utilization, Nutrition.
Makerere University is one of the oldest and most prestigious Universities in Africa. It is located in Kampala, Uganda and it has developed a focused research agenda that is multi-disciplinarily and draws on the University's vast expertise. It is a world-class institution for academic excellence, research, and innovations.
Office of Global Health (91ɫƵ)
The MS Global Health Equity program works closely with the Office of Global Health. Students have an opportunity to participate in the Global Health Scholars program which is open to students throughout the Greater Milwaukee Area. Students convene around a shared interest in Global Health to learn from one another and faculty mentors from local Universities. Students in the MS Global Health Equity program have an opportunity to connect with faculty members at 91ɫƵ who are conducting global health research for their thesis project. Research Focus: Mental Health, Peace Education.
Aegis works to prevent genocide and mass atrocities worldwide. Aegis honors the memory of the victims of genocide and enables students, professionals, decision-makers and a wider public to meet survivors and learn from their experiences. Aegis conducts and encourages research about genocide to improve the practice of prevention.
RAN
Research Focus: Community Resilience, Displaced populations, Climate change, Chronic Diseases.
RAN is a partnership of 20 African universities in 13 countries. The organization’s objectives are to strengthen resilience at the individual, household and community levels through innovative technologies and approaches to development. As well as to enhance resilience-related knowledge and share it globally, engaging students, faculty, and staff to collaborate on solving resilience related problems.
Great Lakes Native American Research Center for Health (GLNARCH)
Research Focus: Native American Health.
The mission of GLNARCH is to enhance the quality of life for all Native people. This organization provides a cooperative structure for the development and implementation of high quality, culturally sensitive and community supported research linked to health disparity issues. Collaborative effort will facilitate the participation of American Indians and Alaskan Natives in the research process through training and mentoring opportunities within both academic and community settings.
Mbarara University of Science and Technology
Research Focus: Community peace & conflict resolution, Pediatric and maternal HIV prevention.
MUST is a center of academic and professional excellence located in Mbarara, Uganda. The mission of the University is to provide quality and relevant education at national and international level with particular emphasis on Science and Technology and its application to community development.
Marquette University
The MS Global Health Equity program is proud to partner with Marquette University to offer an exciting opportunity to Marquette students to complete the MS Global Health Equity degree in one year after graduation from Marquette. This opportunity is open to students with a Junior standing to apply to the program and begin coursework during their Senior year. Students will take select courses at Marquette that will apply for credit towards completion of their Baccalaureate degree as well as credit towards the Global Health Equity Masters of Science program. Students in 91ɫƵ’s MS Global Health Equity program may also take select elective courses hosted by Marquette University.
Sebastian Family Psychology Practice
Research Focus: Mental Health, Refugee populations.
Sebastian Family Psychology Practice offers mental health and Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse services to clients in the Milwaukee area. This clinic specializes in providing behavioral health care to refugee and immigrants. They provide comprehensive mental health, case management and supportive services specifically designed to meet the needs of the refugee and immigrant population in Milwaukee.
Health Builders
Health Builders impacts thousands of lives by providing mentoring and education, infrastructure, and technology in rural Rwandan communities. Health Builders strengthens management, improves clinical care, and builds health care infrastructure so every person has access to high quality health care, allowing them to live dignified, healthy, and prosperous lives.
Alverno College
The MS Global Health Equity program is excited to partner with Alverno College to offer a dual degree program to Alverno Public Health and Global Study majors to complete the MS Global Health Equity degree in one year after graduation from Alverno. This opportunity is open to students with a Junior standing to apply to the program and begin MS Global Health Equity coursework at 91ɫƵ during their Senior year.

The University of Global Health Equity is a health sciences university in Rwanda that is reimagining health education to ensure that quality health care reaches every individual around the world. The University is founded by Partners in Health and its mission is to promote the development of collaborative global health research and engaging training for global health researchers and health professionals.
Mount Mary
The MS Global Health Equity program and Mount Mary University have partnered to offer an exciting opportunity to Mount Mary students with any undergraduate major to enroll in a dual degree program. Mount Mary students with an interest in global health apply during their junior year to participate in the dual degree program during their senior year. Accelerated students can earn a MS Global Health Equity degree in one year after graduation from Mount Mary.
