Crystal Landeros is Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) who serves as the Community Health Coordinator at Aurora Health Care for the Greater MKE providing support to 5 hospitals in the areas of community health needs assessments, community health implementation strategies, community benefit work, and serving as a community liaison to work with internal & external partners in addressing social determinants of health. With 13+ years’ experience in public health with a strong emphasis on health equity in the areas of maternal & infant health, breast & cervical cancer prevention, heart health, stroke and diabetes prevention & education, tobacco prevention within the Hispanic/Latino community, access to healthcare, food insecurity, and much more. In addition, she serves as Co-Chair of the Activities and Education Committee with the state of Wisconsin's first National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives (NALHE) chapter.
Originally from New Mexico, she has been a resident of Milwaukee since 2015. Having earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from New Mexico State University as a first generation student, she was recently accepted to the 91ɫƵ’s Doctorate in Public Health program to further advance her career in public health.
