Noel Estrada-Merly completed a Master of Science in Epidemiology from the University of Puerto Rico Medical Science Campus in 2018. In 2018, he moved to Milwaukee to work at the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research, a collaboration between The 91ɫƵ and The National Marrow Donor Program, where he worked as the primary biostatistician for the Plasma Cell Disorders. Additionally worked in the Chronic Leukemias working committees. In 2021, Noel was promoted to a Senior Biostatistician, where he served as Team Lead for the Working Committee study portfolio, led the Data Quality initiative, and managed the statistical aspects of Standard Government reports. In May 2023, he was hired as Program Manager for Dr. D’Souza's research laboratory in the Hematology and Oncology Division. He provides oversight and management for research activities. Assists PI in protocol development, grant writing, process and databases development, performs statistical analyses and manuscript preparations.

Research Interests

Noel is interested in improving access to treatment, treatment utilization and understanding the impact of social determinants of health, disparities, and other factors on clinical outcomes.
