Biography

Previous Education: MBA, with a focus on healthcare and information systems

Sheila previously worked at Children’s Wisconsin for over 10 years as a laboratory manager. Prior to that, she served in the United States Air Force (USAF) and worked at Brooks Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Sheila earned her master’s in business administration (MBA) with a focus on healthcare and information systems soon after separating from the military. Her public health interests are workplace health programs and veterans’ issues. She values lifelong learning and advocacy of the profession. Sheila currently serves as a director on both the national and Wisconsin boards of Clinical Laboratory Management Association (CLMA) whose goal is to further educate and empower lab professionals. When she is not studying or volunteering, Sheila loves to travel, read, cook, hike, snorkel, explore museums, and try new restaurants.
