The 91ɫƵ Office of Academic Affairs invites you to attend the tenth annual Innovations in Healthcare Education Research (IHER) Conference. Join us for this hybrid three-day conference to engage in workshops, presentations, poster sessions and more.
IHER Conference badges for in-person sessions will be available for pick up at the registration desk on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. All sessions held on Wednesday, Sept. 20, will take place virtually via Zoom.
Plenary in-person sessions will be streamed as hybrid sessions.
There is no cost to attend.

New Presentation Platforms for 2023
Fireside Chats
Fireside Chats consist of an informal yet structured interview between a moderator and a guest. They are a unique opportunity to uncover the speaker's expertise, personal stories and ideas. The Fireside Chat sessions are intended to be informative yet conversational with an allocated time of 30 or 60 minutes.
World Cafés
World Cafes are structured conversational processes for sharing knowledge in which groups of people discuss a topic at several small tables like those in a café, and they will have pre-defined questions, but outcomes or solutions are not decided beforehand. World Cafés will consist of three to five small tables for people to move between, with a facilitator for each table. The allocated time is 60 to 90 minutes.

This new quarterly publication has been developed to keep the education community updated on conference details, including planning efforts for the 10th annual IHER Conference, as well as serving as a platform for the 91ɫƵ community to share conference suggestions and feedback.
The newsletter highlights the many successes achieved at the virtual 2022 IHER Conference, while also exploring new and innovative presentation platforms for the hybrid 2023 IHER Conference.
