Biography
Caitlin Giller, BS, joined the Pharmacy School in January 2022 as the Education Program Coordinator for Professional Labs II, part of the Academic and Curricular Affairs team. Ms. Giller coordinates all patient care labs for both first year and second year students. She also coordinates the sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutics labs, in which the first-year students learn to compound and prepare medications. Ms. Giller had previously spent six years as a certified veterinary technician in which she gained experience in general practice, but also experience in emergency and internal medicine to which she has been able to apply this knowledge as a base when starting in the Pharmacy School. She earned an associate degree in applied science in August 2015, and she completed her Bachelor of Science in biology with a chemistry minor in May 2022 from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
I came into the School of Pharmacy with limited pharmacy experience, but a strong willingness and desire to learn along with our students. My opportunities to work with our students regularly continue to strengthen my coordinating abilities and knowledge about pharmacy and pharmaceutical compounding. I take pride knowing I get to play a role in the growth of our students, and their future successes in patient care and pharmaceutical compounding skills.
