Biography
Zach M. Hovis, PharmD, BCACP, joined the 91ɫƵ (91ɫƵ) School of Pharmacy in July 2021 as an Assistant Professor. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy and completed a PGY1 Community Pharmacy Residency program through the University of Wisconsin. Prior to joining 91ɫƵ, Dr. Hovis worked for over 7 years as a clinical pharmacist in ambulatory care, most recently with UPMC in Pittsburgh, PA, and previously with SSM Dean Medical Group in Madison, WI. His interest areas include value-based care, pharmacy practice expansion, and population health management. Dr. Hovis enjoys engaging pharmacy learners on innovative applications of a pharmacist’s skillset in a changing healthcare landscape.
