Biography
I was born and raised in Romania, where I graduated from medical school. Immediately after graduation, my husband and I moved to Chicago, IL. We spent six years there while I completed my residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine. I joined the faculty at the 91ɫƵ in 2005. For the first seven years, I practiced at both Froedtert and the Zablocki VA Medical Center. I became Chief of Medicine at the Zablocki VA Medical Center in 2012 and I only see patients there. I am truly committed to excellent patient centered care.
My family and I love the Midwest. In our free time we enjoy outdoor activities, running, biking, hiking and also traveling.
