My clinical philosophy involves forming a partnership with each patient — working together to manage their glaucoma. I invite patients to ask as many questions as they would like regarding their condition. In particular, because glaucoma is typically asymptomatic unless advanced, I feel that it is extremely important that each patient understands as much as possible about the disease and the rationale for treatment. Equipped with that knowledge, patients are able to make well-informed decisions regarding the various treatment options I present to them.
