I believe that the ideal model of a physician-patient relationship is truly a partnership. This is especially important in the treatment of epilepsy, a condition which requires thoughtful and knowledgeable care beyond just preventing seizures. Decisions are often nuanced, and there is continuous progress in research which can potentially provide new treatment strategies. I aim to empower my patients by partnering with them to help make the best choices for their health and for their lives.
