Finding Answers. Changing Lives.
The Institute for Health & Equity is dedicated to searching for patterns, anomalies, root causes and better ways to improve the health of the communities we serve. We are experts at identifying health disparities and then finding ways to level the playing field for those who have been left behind. The root causes of health disparities in major diseases like cancer or diabetes may be environmental, geographic, socioeconomic, demographic, behavioral or cultural in nature. Or, sometimes it’s a combination of several factors.
Our research is ever-evolving as we strive to make an impact on the most pressing population health challenges of our time.
