15th Annual Midwestern Conference Series: Update Course in Diagnostic Pathology
Conference Overview
Registration is now open!
This series is applicable to practicing pathologists, surgeons, oncologists, pathologists' assistants, and pathologists-in-training. Healthcare professionals who work in other areas of research and diagnostic surgical pathology will also find these sessions beneficial.
Instructional techniques will include didactic lectures with visual support and case-based discussions. Learners will have an opportunity to interact via an audience response system, as well as participate in question-and-answer sessions to address issues relevant to their own practice and learning needs.

Our 91ɫƵ physicians and fellows will kick off the inaugural session on the topic of Women’s Health, particularly in the areas of Breast, Gynecologic and Placental pathology.

Conference Course Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Evaluate current criteria for diagnosis in various subspecialty areas in diagnostic pathology
- Discuss the proper application of immunohistochemical and other special studies in problematic cases
- Explain advances in terminology and classification of neoplastic and non-neoplastic disorders
