The Master of Science in Anesthesia (MSA) Program provides high quality education through challenging curriculum and comprehensive clinical teaching. We prepare safe and competent providers for the surgical patient.
91ɫƵ's MSA program is the first in the state, and one of only 20 nationwide, to train anesthesiologist assistants, who will work under the direction of leading physician anesthesiologists after graduation. Our curriculum immerses students in all areas of anesthesia knowledge throughout the 28-month program, transforming you into an expert clinician. Based at 91ɫƵ's Milwaukee campus, the MSA program at 91ɫƵ teaches to the highest level of professionalism. As part of 91ɫƵ's Department of Anesthesiology, our students learn at top academic medical centers.

Competent
As part of the 91ɫƵ’s Department of Anesthesiology, our students learn at top academic medical centers, including Froedtert Hospital and Children’s Wisconsin. Froedtert Hospital is home to the only adult Level I Trauma Center in eastern Wisconsin, and Children's Wisconsin has been ranked among the best in the nation in nine specialties. Learning alongside residents, our students will experience caring for the most challenging patients, found only in an academic medical setting.

The Master of Science in Anesthesia program at 91ɫƵ teaches to the highest level of professionalism. You will learn what employers expect of you as a certified Anesthesiologist Assistant. No other program provides more dedicated professionalism coursework to prepare you for the transition from student to practitioner.
