Dr. Bryon Johnson explained the CAR-T cell immunotherapy as "a search-and-destroy mission," in which the patient’s existing immune cells are modified to attack cancer cells.
Dr. Hari said the promising results of this clinical trial indicate a giant leap forward in personalized medicine. "The encouraging results of the CAR-T cell trial positions us and our partners as a leader in clinical cancer care, and paves the way for more effective and efficient treatment options for patients."
