Alcohol Awareness Month Resources

April is Alcohol Awareness Month

Excessive drinking and alcohol-related harms are common in Wisconsin. In fact, Wisconsin ranks 47th out of 50 in the U.S. for its excessive drinking, where a lower ranking means a state has more widespread excessive drinking.

We’ve put together the resources below as a way for you to help spread the message that together, we can change the culture around drinking in Wisconsin to create safer and healthier communities.

Alcohol Awareness Month Social Media Posts

We created a series of social media posts customized to Wisconsin using weekly themes and focus areas. By visiting the link below, you will find a content calendar and folder with graphics for use on social media. Simply copy the text from the spreadsheet and download the corresponding graphic for use on your own accounts.

The weekly themes are listed to the right, but of course, posts may be shared at any time throughout the month. Materials may be customized to add your logo and/or organization-specific hashtag.
