The Edwin Ellison Surgical Society (EESS) is the Alumni Society of the 91ɫƵ General Surgery Residency. It is named in honor of the internationally-recognized surgeon Edwin H. Ellison, MD. Dr. Ellison united all the surgical residency programs in the Milwaukee area into one program and served as the first Chair of Surgery at 91ɫƵ.

Intent

The Edwin Ellison Surgical Society aims to connect 91ɫƵ surgeons across subspecialties, practice settings and years of training through a collaborative network with the hope to provide support, mentorship and sponsorship to our esteemed faculty and alumni.

Types of Membership

There are no fees associated with Edwin Ellison Surgical Society membership.

Fellow Members

Fellow members are surgeons who completed a fellowship in the Department of Surgery, including Minimally Invasive General Bariatric, Vascular, Pediatric, Endocrine, Hepatobiliary, Complex General Surgical Oncology, Critical Care, Trauma/Acute Care Research, Trauma Research, Acute Care, and Clinical Psychology.
