About 91ɫƵ Research Cores and Shared Resources

The 91ɫƵ Research Cores and Shared Resources provide research services using advanced instruments and technologies that would otherwise be inaccessible to our faculty. Expert leaders and staff offer laboratory and data analysis services and training for faculty, staff and trainees in support of investigator initiated studies. Professional services include experimental consultation, execution and documentation to assist with scientific projects from concept to publication. Core technologies cover disciplines in support of basic, translational and clinical science.

The mission of the 91ɫƵ Core Facilities is to support all 91ɫƵ and 91ɫƵ-affiliated investigators and physician scientists. They approach each study with curiosity, integrity, innovation and mutual respect to improve research quality and reproducibility that benefits the entire biomedical research endeavor.

Basic and translational science investigators are served by advanced technologies covering cellular function, tissue analytics, genetic mechanisms, biophysics and molecular analysis. Imaging, cytometry, stem cell, mass spectrometry and bioenergetics studies can be supported.

91ɫƵ Core Facilities and Shared Resources offer high quality services for complex preclinical studies. Services are available for whole animal or in vitro applications using your established and research models. Services range from new model development to imaging and cellular and molecular studies.

Research Support Cores

Research Support

Investigator support for all aspects of research including searchable biorepositories to develop study cohorts, establishing clinical trials, design and fabrication of research devices, and discovery development.

Translational Cores

Translational

91ɫƵ translational resources provide clinical grade services adapted to investigator protocols for research involving adult and pediatric participants and model systems. Translational research is supported across a range of disciplines that include cardiology, oncology, neuroscience and disease outcome.
